The Directors
Ian and Yvonne Rothall have been in business as a husband and wife partnership for nearly 20 yrs, and have owned Scooter World for over ten years. With Ian’s background in the motor vehicle trade and Yvonne’s experience as a nurse, in Scooter World they recognised the potential for using their previous experiences and abilities to build a strong company.
They have enjoyed the challenge of shaping a great business culture that revolves around creating win/win situations for their customers, their staff and their suppliers and knowing that the potential for growth is only limited by themselves and the service they can offer.
They are very proud of the team of experienced people they have, who all exhibit high levels of integrity, honesty and individuality when dealing with their customers
Lonsdale
Jillian Ewer – Store Manager
Jill is a local person to the Lonsdale area and has been with Scooter world since 2003. She has built a strong presence in the region through being involved with community organizations and events. Her warm and friendly personality has endeared her to many of her customers
Wojciech Karczmarski – Service Technician
Wojciech supports Jill in the service department at Lonsdale, where his commitment and strong work ethic makes him an important part of the team.
Salisbury Plains
Shane Thompson – Store Manager
Since joining Scooter World in 2007 at our Welland store as a salesperson, Shane is now the Manager of our Salisbury Plains store. Committed to excellent service, Shane has quickly built a loyal customer base that is happy to recommend him to their friends and family.
Jon Radway – Service Technician
Jon enjoys his work and gains a great deal of satisfaction from helping his customers. Always willing to lend a hand, Jon often helps Shane on the showroom floor and has great product knowledge; a real asset to the team!
Welland
Margaret Heffernan – Sales Manager
Margaret’s cheerful nature and her willingness to go that extra mile means our customers always receive the friendly efficient attention they deserve. Margaret happily gets involved in a number of community events, from Anzac Day Marches to co-ordinating Knitting campaigns to help Save the Children fund.
Wayne (Ned) Kelly – Parts and Service Manager
Ned likes our customers to know they can always rely on Scooter World to maintain their scooters in tip top condition. Ned’s quiet, efficient manner ‘gets the job done’, making sure our customers have peace of mind in knowing that the service department is always available to make sure a quick turnaround in repairs is possible.
Roshan (Roger) Bantupalli- Sales Coordinator
Roger mostly works with The Rehabilitation Centre and specialty products. Apart from helping out on the showroom floor with mobility products he also measures and assists customers with compression stockings and socks.
Neil Stuart – Senior Service technician
A stalwart of the team, Neil has been with Scooter World since 2001. His knowledge and experience with fault finding in scooters is second to none and he is an important cog in the efficiency of the Service department.
Jackie Fleet – Administrative Officer
Jackie has been with Scooter world since 2004 and knows too well the growth that has been experienced in the company as she is responsible for managing the increasing amount of paper work that flows from this! Jackie’s efficiency is only outshone by her ability to do 10 things at once.
Lynda Salvemini – Administrative Assistant
Another relative newcomer, Lynda works in most locations within the Scooter World group. Always willing to learn new skills, Lynda assists a number of managers, making sure the relevant administration procedures are in place and ready for process.
